Privacy Policy
PlatePlan uses personal nutrition and planning data only to provide and improve the meal planning experience.

Information we collect
We collect account details, onboarding answers, dietary preferences, nutrition goals, exercise entries, household meal-planning inputs, saved recipes, custom meals, shopping lists, feedback, support messages, and app diagnostics. If you subscribe, purchases are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat Web Billing with Stripe as payment processor; PlatePlan receives subscription status and entitlement information, not your full payment card details.
How we use information
We use your information to create meal plans, personalize recipes, calculate nutrition targets, sync your account, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain security, operate subscriptions, and improve app reliability.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers that operate PlatePlan, including hosting, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, AI meal generation, and subscription processing providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect PlatePlan, our users, or others.
Your choices
You can update many account and preference details in the app. You can manage or cancel subscriptions from the settings page. To request account deletion, data access, or support with privacy questions, contact support@plateplan.recipes.
Data retention and deletion
We retain account and meal-planning data while your account is active so we can provide PlatePlan. You can delete your account in the app or request deletion at support@plateplan.recipes. When an account-deletion request is completed, we delete the account and associated personal meal-planning data from active systems. Residual copies may remain in backups for up to 30 days before they expire. App diagnostics and operational logs are generally retained for up to 30 days. We may retain limited transaction, fraud-prevention, security, or legal-compliance records for longer when reasonably necessary or required by law. App-store, subscription, and payment providers retain their records under their own policies.
Children
PlatePlan is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
